SihanoukVille is currently home to 3 world class luxury resorts.

Independence Hotel is located on Independence Beach.  This newly renovated hotel was once South East Asia's most popular resort, as well as the tallest.  (you'll hear the locals call this the 7 story hotel).  The hotel has been restored to its original elegance as when it was designed in the 60's by then King Sihanouk.  All the rooms look out over the forest and ocean.

Sokha Resort is on Sokha Beach.  The first beach resort in Sihanoukville.  A kilometer and a half (1 mile for Americans) of private white sandy beach.  This is a full service, four star resort with several restaurants and bars, a beautiful swimming pool, fitness center, business center, conference center, spa and all water sports.

Mirax Resort is the only private island resort in Cambodia.  Located on Koh Dek Koule island a couple kilometers off Independence Beach.  With a spa, swimming pool, water activities and fine dining, this is one of the most unique resorts in SihanoukVille.

A handful of smaller resorts without all the amenities of a full resort, and not quite as expensive too.
